We are taking proactive measures to protect the environment through the sales of various treatment chemicals and related equipment used in water, air, and soil improvement applications. Water treatment facilities are a particular area of expertise for Ohara, including the reuse of water resources using membrane systems, the reduction of waste liquid using concentrators, acid and alkali recovery systems using electrodialyzers, recycling of inorganic salts using bipolar membrane electrodialyzers, heavy metal removal using chelate resins, and the sale of chemical products with low environmental impact. In the field of energy-related products, we are also developing energy saving products, battery materials, and other useful items.
